ITT Hub 2022: The growth of Iles Bus in the UK

By Bradley Osborne - 26th May 2022

UK / Turkey – Where other bus and coach builders have suffered during the past two years of pandemic restrictions on mobility and leisure, Iles Bus UK Ltd has thrived, thanks to a canny alteration to its product strategy.

When it saw that the bottom had fallen out of its main concern, the travel and tourism sector, Iles Bus UK quickly switched to outfitting mini- and midi-buses designed in accordance with Public Service Vehicles Accessibility Regulations (PSVAR) – the rules for passenger accessibility which apply in England, Wales and Scotland to public transportation vehicles fitting certain criteria. The company believed there was an opportunity in this niche, and the results of the past two years have borne this out. Iles Bus UK claims that its sales have grown 400% since the COVID-19 pandemic began, and it has taken on four new sales representatives to keep up with the demand.
