Transpotec 2022: Investment and expansion at Tecnokar

Italy – Tecnokar Trailers Srl is one of the major players in the Italian trailer market. As of 2021, it is fifth place in the semi-trailer market, with a 7.4% share, down only slightly on the previous year. This belies the fact that its sales grew, from 776 units to 1,008, a solid achievement. Of homegrown brands, it is outperformed only by Menci.
Hand-in-hand with this growth in sales is a significant expansion in the company workforce. There are 350 employees working for Tecnokar today, which is double the number of employees six years ago. This is a company that is enjoying a considerable burst of momentum, and it seeks to keep it going through a series of investments in its manufacturing and its market presence.
