Transpotec 2022: Recent developments at Benalu

Italy / France – Benalu SA is a formidable presence in its home territory of France. The specialist manufacturer of aluminium tippers and moving floor semi-trailers claims that it controls 32% of the tipper market in France; a marked contrast to its performance in Italy where it sold just 30 units from its entire portfolio in 2021. Even this is an improvement on three years ago, when its Italian sales were zero.
The Liévin-based manufacturer aims to turn this around – not only in Italy, but also in Spain. In addition, it is looking to consolidate gains that it has made in the Portuguese market. In Eastern Europe, it is represented by subsidiary Mega Trailers of Nysa, Poland, which it acquired in 2017.
