Ashok Leyland links up with MFCWL for used vehicle sales

India / UK – CV manufacturing giant, Ashok Leyland Ltd of Chennai, India has signed a Memorandurm of Understanding (MoU) with Mahindra First Choice Wheels Ltd (MFCWL) to offer a service to customers for facilitating an exchange, proper disposal of old commercial vehicles and assistance with purchase of a new vehicle. The official scrappage policy of old vehicles is expected to be implemented in FY 2023, at which time only accredited scrappage companies can apply for the government subsidy.
Not only will MFCWL be the third party responsible for recycling qualifying old vehicles it will be the partner of choice for Ashok Leyland for trading on used vehicles via their pan-India platform.
