Pinnacle launches its first electric bus

India - Pinnacle Mobility Solutions Pvt Ltd of Pune, India, a subsidiary of Pinnacle Industries, has unveiled its first 9-metre all-electric bus, marking the company’s entry into the electric vehicle market.
The EKA E9 features a new vehicle design with monocoque stainless steel chassis and complete composite structure. It is powered by a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) with a maximum power of 200 KW and maximum torque of 2500 Nm and comes with a re-generative braking system. The low entry bus is fitted with an AC system, demister and bacterial filtration system. It has front and rear air suspension with ECAS and ventilated disc brakes on every wheel along with emergency braking (EBS).
