Einride to supply Maersk with 300 electric trucks and 150 charging stations

The agreement with EInride will support Maersk's commitment to net-zero across its business by 2040

USA / Canada – Swedish technology firm Einride AB, based in Stockholm, has announced the signing of an operational agreement with A.P. Moller-Maersk, to provide its Freight Mobility platform to the Danish shipping giant. The contract marks the first major expansion of Einride’s operations in the USA after opening operations in New York City in November 2021. In addition, the order follows a Series B investment from Maersk’s investment arm in Einride from May of 2021.

As part of the agreement, Einride will deliver 300 electric trucks and 150 charging stations between 2023-2025, all of which will be integrated into Einride’s Saga platform. The vehicles, infrastructure, and digital platform will support Maersk’s North American warehousing and distribution business.
