Olectra conducts heavy-duty electric truck trials

INDIA – Olectra Greentech Ltd of Hyderabad (a subsidiary of Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Ltd (MEIL)*), through its strategic technical collaboration with BYD Auto Industry of Shenzhen, China, has started trials of its first 6x4 heavy-duty electric tipper in Hyderabad.
The Olectra tipper, with a 220-km range on a single charge, is built with a heavy-duty bogie suspension tipper capable of managing slopes with a gradeability of more than 25 per cent.
