UD Trucks uses PTC for digital transformation of manufacturing in Japan

Japan - UD Trucks, a subsidiary of Isuzu Motors Ltd (following its sale by the Volvo Group in March 2021) has signed an agreement with data analytics, storage and security firm, PTC Japan (a division of PTC System (S) Pte Ltd of Singapore) to introduce a new data platform to help improve the efficiency of its production operations. 

The truck-maker, based in Ageo, in Japan’s Saitama prefecture, claims to have a strong track record of digitizing its internal processes and says this agreement is another step in its digital transformation.
