Phenix to upfit Zeus electric cab-chassis with vocational truck bodies

USA – Zeus Electric Chassis Inc, an electric cab-chassis manufacturer based in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, is collaborating with commercial truck bodybuilder Phenix Truck Bodies & Van Equipment of Pomona, California to provide customers in Southern California with Class 4-6 all-electric vocational trucks.
Phenix will be authorised to upfit Zeus’ electric chassis platforms with various bodies for utility, municipal, construction, and commercial purposes, and then sell the vehicles across its network in Southern California. The two companies initially plan to deploy the vehicles in low volumes, working with fleets to prepare for larger scale implementation and deployment of the electric vehicles.
