USA / CanadaOshkosh Corporation, a parent of several specialty truck brands based in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, USA, has completed its acquisition of Maxi-Métal Inc of Saint-Georges, Quebec, Canada, a manufacturer specialising in fire apparatus and utility truck bodies.

Maxi-Métal has been operating in the Canadian market since 1983. Its association with Oshkosh goes back to 2015, when Maxi-Métal partnered with Oshkosh-brand Pierce to design and sell fire trucks exclusively in Canada. The group has stated that, while Maxi-Métal will be incorporated into the Fire & Emergency segment, it will retain its brand identity, management, and assets.
