USARomeo Power Inc, a battery manufacturer based in Vernon, California, has launched a new programme designed to teach original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the commercial electric vehicle sector about battery technology and applications.

The Battery Integration Workshop is a hands-on programme lasting one and a half days which has been designed by Romeo Power’s sales, engineering and product development teams to help existing and potential OEM customers to understand how EV batteries work and how best to apply them. Romeo Power claims that the programme is a “unique offering” in the commercial EV space which, in the words of CEO Susan Brennan, will fulfil an “industry need to understand better how EV battery products and associated technology integrate into” each customer’s respective applications.
