USA / UK – Charging infrastructure supplier Nuvve Corporation of San Diego, California, USA announced that it has entered a partnership with electric vehicle manufacturer Switch Mobility Ltd of Sherburn in Elmet, UK to ensure cross-compatibility between Switch’s charging management platform and Nuvve’s vehicle-to-grid technology.

Nuvve offers a vehicle-to-grid or ‘V2G’ digital platform which allows excess energy in parked electric vehicles to be collected, stored, and shared on the power grid. The technology allows fleet operators to discharge energy back into the grid at times of peak demand, thus helping to mitigate energy spikes while also allowing operators to recoup some money.
