GermanyOpel Automobile GmbH, a subsidiary of Stellantis based in Rüsselsheim am Main, Hesse, has announced that the battery-electric variant of its Vivaro range of light commercial vehicles is now available to order with a flatbed truck body.

The flatbed platform, measuring 2.44 x 1.83 x 0.40 metres (L x W x H), is fitted with an aluminium tailgate and sidewalls which can be folded down for loading and unloading. As for the frame, the steel comes with a 10-year anti-perforation warranty due to hot-dip galvanisation. Opel describes the load height as “low” at 860 mm. The floor of the flatbed body is lined with an anti-slip surface, and loads can also be fastened to eyes recessed into the exterior frame.
