India / UK - In collaboration with IP Rings Ltd (IPRL), part of Amalgamations Group, India, global emissions solutions and technologies, Eminox Ltd of Gainsborough, UK (a Hexadex Group company) has set up its previously announced joint venture (JV) in India, called IPR Eminox Technologies, which is based at IPRL’s headquarters in Chennai.

As previously announced (see article dated October 11, 2021), the aim of the 50:50 joint venture is to design, develop and manufacture full Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems (EATS) for the local market to cost effectively meet the Indian BS/TREM V off-highway1 and BS VI Stage 22 niche on-highway emissions standards. To this end, a new IPR Eminox Technology Centre was officially opened in June by senior representatives of the two companies: Mark Runciman, Managing Director of Eminox, Dr Dave Philips, Engineering Director of Eminox and Ram Venkataraman, Managing Director of IPR.
