IPR Eminox Technologies joint venture opens IPR Eminox Technology Centre in Chennai

Following an interview with Truck & Bus Builder, Gainsborough-based emissions solutions firm, Eminox Ltd (a subsidiary of Hexadex Group), has provided additional information on its recently announced joint venture in India with IP Rings Ltd (IPRL)1 - a subsidiary of Amalgamations Group and manufacturer of components for engines, gearboxes and turbochargers based in Chennai, India.

Emissions control specialist Eminox Ltd (a subsidiary of Hexadex Group), based in Gainsborough, UK, has announced plans to add a manufacturing facility in Slovakia alongside further investment at its headquarters in Gainsborough.

IP Rings has entered into an agreement with Eminox to set up a 50:50 joint venture in Chennai for the design, development and manufacture of full Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems to effectively meet the Indian BS/TREM V off-highway and BS VI Stage 2 on-highway emissions standards.

Gainsborough-based Eminox Ltd is to retrofit emissions control solutions to 205 buses operated by First Group (Scotland) enabling compliance ahead of the introduction of Low Emissions Zones in Edinburgh, Dundee, and Aberdeen between February 2022 and May 2022, and Phase 2 in Glasgow in 2023.
