Terberg enters joint venture to build terminal tractors in the U.S.

USARoyal Terberg Group BV of IJsselstein, Netherlands has set up a joint venture with the Taylor Group of Companies of Louisville, Mississippi, USA – specialising primarily in forklifts and heavy machinery – to manufacture and sell Terberg terminal tractors in the United States. 

The proposed joint venture, called ‘Terberg Taylor Americas Group LLC’, will build a manufacturing facility in Lowndes County, Mississippi and establish a distribution network for selling, leasing and servicing Terberg terminal tractors or yard trucks. The joint project represents a total investment of USD15.9m, and 90 jobs will be created as a result. Terberg’s offices in Miami, Florida will be integrated with the joint venture to provide sales support.
