Mack LR and TerraPro now offered with Hendrickson’s HAULMAAX EX suspension

USA – Mack Trucks Inc of Greensboro, North Carolina has announced that its ‘LR’ range of waste collection trucks and its heavy-duty ‘TerraPro’ range can now be ordered with the ‘HAULMAAX EX’ suspension system, designed and made by Hendrickson International of Woodridge, Illinois.
First introduced in 2019, the HAULMAAX EX boasts a progressive load system and angled bolster springs which reduce road shock, wheel hop and vibrations. It requires no lubrication, has fewer bushings, and features an integrated jounce stop to protect the rubber components from compression. According to Mack Trucks, the HAULMAAX EX offers increased capability offering capacities of 40,000lbs, 46,000lbs, and 52,000 lbs, with up to a 75,000-lb site rating. Moreover, the company claims the improved durability of the HAULMAAX EX will reduce downtime and total cost of ownership.
