Navistar launches updated LT Series of long-haul trucks

Updated International LT Series by Navistar

USANavistar International Corporation of Lisle, Illinois has launched an updated version of the LT Series of Class 8 long-haul trucks which feature improvements to aerodynamics for greater fuel efficiency.

The changes made to the vehicle design are various and include: diesel exhaust fluid and fuel fill closeouts which allow air to flow smoothly over the chassis skirts; steer wheel closeouts and a modified lower skirt trim which improve underbody air flow by restricting it through the wheel opening; and a new roof extender to improve air flow between tractor and trailer. Cosmetic changes have been made to the front end, namely the bumper and the grille, while inside, a new premium 9-inch sleeper mattress and flip-up bunk have been added.
