‘Tata Green Batteries’ signs aftermarket sales pact with Tata Motors CV division

Tata Auto Comp signs agreement with Tata Motors to distribute batteries through CV network
India – Japan-India joint venture battery maker, Tata AutoComp GY Batteries Ltd1 (Tata Green Batteries) of Pune has signed an aftermarket sales contract with Tata Motors Ltd of Mumbai, to enable its batteries to be sold through Tata Motors’ authorised dealerships and workshops. Tata Green Batteries manufacture battery packs in a factory in Pune, Maharashtra.
Ravi Gupta, CEO, Tata Green Batteries, said: “Tata Green Batteries has been one of the major OEM partners of Tata Motors for a long time with supplies to all major platforms of commercial vehicles. This landmark agreement marks the extension of this relationship to the aftermarket space.”
