Tevva truck completes hot weather and altitude tests

UK / SpainTevva Motors Ltd of Tilbury, UK has announced the successful completion of climate and altitude testing of its upcoming 7.5-tonne battery-electric truck, which has now entered series production and will be delivered to customers beginning in the autumn. 

Tevva conducted the hot weather and altitude tests in the Sierra Nevada, a mountain range in the province of Granada in southern Spain. Over several weeks, the truck was taken up to heights of 3,000 metres above sea level whilst fully laden with a 2.5-tonne cargo. The manufacturer also tested stopping and starting on steep gradients.
