Mercedes-Benz showcases range of driver assistance and energy saving features for electric vans

GermanyMercedes-Benz Group AG of Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg showcased a range of interior design and advanced driver assistance features, which are intended to improve driveability and reduce energy consumption in electric vans, at SHIFT Mobility from 1-6 September and at the Future Mobility Summit from 7-8 September, both in Berlin. 

In October 2021, Mercedes-Benz unveiled its technology demonstrator, called ‘Sustaineer’ (‘Sustainability Pioneer’). The demo vehicle, displayed to the public for the first time at the two Berlin shows, is installed with a number of features including close-range surface heating elements, a ‘mobilisation seat’, dust filtration, aerodynamic design, and a coaching app.
