Proterra to supply batteries for ENC’s Axess range of buses

USA – Proterra Inc of Burlingame, California has entered a multi-year agreement with El Dorado National California Inc (“ENC”) to supply battery systems to power ENC’s ‘Axess-BEB’ line of battery-electric buses.

Proterra will provide its S-Series battery systems, designed for medium- and heavy-duty transit applications and supplying up to 123 kWh per pack. Deliveries of the first Axess buses installed with Proterra batteries are expected to begin next year.
