JAC E-JT 12.5 (12.5t gvw) electric truck in Brazil

Brazil - JAC Motors do Brasil Automóveis S.A. (formerly JAC Motors Brasil Ltda), a subsidiary of the SHC Group* and independent dealer representing Chinese manufacturer, Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group Co Ltd (JAC) in São Paulo since 2011, has launched another electric model in Brazil – the 12.5t gvw JAC E-JT 12.5. The new model, its seventh for the market of Brazil, JAC stated, has been introduced in response to a direct request from customers of its lighter duty 8.5t gvw model, iEV1200T, for a heavier-duty delivery truck with a higher payload capacity.

The JAC E-JT 12.5 has a gross weight of 12.5 tons and offers a payload of 8.6 tons (8,600kg). Fully loaded the model has a range of 150km, 180km at 70% maximum payload and 250km, when the vehicle is empty. JAC says it has been specially developed for medium-duty load distribution operation in the city.
