JAC Motors do Brasil has launched another electric model in Brazil – the 12.5t gvw, JAC E-JT 12.5. The new model, its seventh for the Brazilian market, which has been introduced in response to customers requests for a truck with a higher payload capacity.
Over the last year, several large Brazilian transport companies like Ambev, Braspress, Pepsi and Ouro Verde, have started to replace some of their urban delivery fleet vehicles with electric ones, especially for delivery services in urban areas.
JAC has completed an initial order of three JAC iEV 1200T delivery vans, to be operated by Brazilian drinks manufacturer, Fruki Beverages in Rio Grande do Sul.
Beverage company Ambev announced the acquisition of another 150 JAC iEV 1200T trucks from JAC Motors Brasil which are scheduled to be delivered by the end of this year.
