Sweden / ItalyVolta Trucks AB of Stockholm, Sweden announced that its upcoming 16-tonne battery-electric truck has successfully completed hot weather testing at the Nardò Technical Centre1 in southern Italy.

Over six weeks, the Volta Zero covered over 2,500 kilometres at varying speeds, during peak temperatures of 39 degrees Celsius in the daytime and 28 degrees at night. Powertrain performance, thermal management of the battery packs, and energy consumption of auxiliary systems such as air conditioning were evaluated during testing.
