USA – At the 2022 North American International Auto Show (“Detroit Auto Show”) between 14-15 September, Stanadyne LLC of Windsor, Connecticut unveiled a new low-pressure fuel injector for medium- and heavy-duty commercial vehicles which is compatible with alternative fuels, including hydrogen.

Stanadyne’s multipurpose port injector can be used for diesel, hydrogen, compressed natural gas (CNG) and dimethyl ether (DME) fuels. Its high flow capacity and fuel-air mixing features reportedly permit energy density delivery for alternative fuels which is equivalent to that of traditional hydrocarbon fuels.
