BorgWarner acquires Rhombus Energy Solutions

USA – BorgWarner Inc of Auburn Hills, Michigan, has announced it acquired vehicle-to-grid (V2G) charging specialist, Rhombus Energy Solutions of San Diego, California in August of this year for USD 185 million. Rhombus supplies its charging technology to electric vehicle (EV) original equipment manufacturers (OEM’s) such as electric bus builder and charging electric infrastructure supplier, Proterra Inc.
