Hübner to bring advanced passenger door sensor equipment to market next year

SensIQ sonic, a new generation in door safety and anti-trap protection systems in public transport vehicles
Germany – At Innotrans in Berlin in September, Hübner GmbH & Co. KG (Hübner Group) of Kassel, Germany, announced its new SensIQ sonic door safety and anti-trap protection system for public transport vehicles.
This latest development in the SensIQ product range uses ultrasonic sensor technology, which Hubner states, brings greater safety for city bus passengers as well as reduced downtime for the operator. The new technology, Hubner said is to be built into a compact housing, which is then inserted into one end of the elastomer profile. The other end can simply be closed with a cap or plug.
