CATL showcases new battery updates at IAA

CATL High Energy Density Battery Pack
China / Germany - Contemporary Amperex Technology Co Ltd (CATL), based in Ningde, Fujian, China revealed updated batteries with advanced chemistry densities at the IAA Transportation event in Hanover, Germany, late September.
Product updates in the module and pack level were also the focus at the show, but centre stage was its flagship product, the updated High Energy Density Battery Pack, powered by the 228Ah High Energy Density Cell and supported by CATL's cell-to-pack (CTP) technology. The battery pack boasts an integration efficiency of 91% and a system energy density of 160Wh/kg, with more than two million packs sold in 55 countries.
