Netherlands – Electric bus manufacturer, Ebusco Holding NV, based in Deurne, has announced a deal with Emmett Green BV, a renewable energy research, development, finance and manufacturing company, headquartered in the Hague, to supply an undisclosed quantity of in-house developed energy storage systems to balance the power grid, in the first half of 2023. This marks the first sale by Ebusco of its energy storage system in the stationary battery storage market, signifying a real milestone for the Dutch company.

Ebusco says it has leveraged its experience with heavy-duty batteries and battery management systems to develop its energy storage systems products used for high energy demand including grid balancing, supporting smart charging infrastructure and maritime solutions. The energy storage systems will be completely manufactured in-house at Ebusco’s headquarters in Deurne.
