Sweden / USAScania AB of Södertälje, Sweden is partnering with logistics firm HAVI of Chicago, Illinois, USA to trial an autonomous truck on the road, as part of a project to evaluate the performance of autonomous vehicles in hub-to-hub operations.

The two companies will pilot the autonomous truck between Södertälje and Jönköping in Sweden, a 300-kilometre journey between two of HAVI’s logistics hubs.
