SEA Electric doubles capacity at Australian assembly site

Expanded facility in Dandenong, highlighted in green

Australia / USA – Australian-American firm SEA Electric Pty Ltd of Los Angeles, California, USA announced it has expanded its assembly facility in Dandenong, Victoria, Australia, doubling the production capacity of electric trucks at the site.

The total plant space has been expanded from 8,000m2 to 15,000m2, now allowing for eight trucks to be assembled every day. Since 2017, the site has produced electric trucks converted from OEM platforms; last year, SEA Electric began assembly of medium- and heavy-duty cab chassis trucks with its own badging.
