Fraikin partners with idem telematics for data security

Germany - Commercial vehicle rental company, Fraikin Deutschland GmbH of Unterschleißheim, has partnered with idem telematics GmbH of Munich (a subsidiary of the BPW Group of Werlte, Germany), for idem to provide data security to the Fraikin fleet. This also includes networking the vehicles with the open-system telematics platform from idem telematics with open interfaces enabling Fraikin rental customers to integrate driver, vehicle and route data more securely and quickly into their own fleet and transport management systems, even if using hardware and software from other providers.
Fraikin rents out a broad range of vehicles across brands, from light vans and ambulances to garbage trucks, tippers, trucks, articulated lorries and trailers; customers include municipalities as well as transport and logistics companies of all sizes.
