Gaussin sets up new UK subsidiary

UK / France – French zero-emission vehicle manufacturer Gaussin SA, based in Héricourt, France, announced it has set up a new subsidiary, Gaussin UK Ltd, to aid in the marketing of its electric and hydrogen vehicles on the English market. Gaussin UK will be based in Wickford, Essex, targeting the UK logistics, retail and transport markets, as well as licensed sales to local partners.
Gaussin said that UK green energy tax benefits, subsidies and falling battery prices have all provided the necessary financial incentives to enter the UK market. Christophe Gaussin, CEO of the Gaussin Group, said: “The decision to expand our presence into UK was a logical step in our business growth strategy.”
