Volvo Buses and FlixBus sign cooperation agreement for coach procurement

Sweden / Germany – Volvo Bus Corporation of Gothenburg, Sweden has announced that it agreed a deal in May 2022 with transportation services provider Flix SE of Munich, Bavaria, Germany, enabling Volvo Buses to supply standard-specification coaches to operators providing intercity travel under the ‘FlixBus’ brand.
FlixBus was founded in 2011 and established its first bus routes in Bavaria in 2013. It handles marketing, pricing, and digitised customer services on behalf of operators for a commission. Today, FlixBus’s partners operate in over 30 European countries as well as in North and South America, connecting 2,500 destinations.
