Germany / DenmarkZF Friedrichshafen AG, an automotive systems supplier based in Friedrichshafen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, has signed an agreement with freight forwarding firm DSV A/S (of Hedehusene, Denmark) which will see ZF equipping DSA’s trailer fleet with its ‘TX-Trailerpulse’ telematics hardware.

DSA trailers fitted with ZF telematics will be connected to ‘Fleet Management Solutions’, a suite of digital products and services developed by the ‘Transics’ brand. The TX-Trailerpulse unit communicates real-time location and operational data to fleet managers using ‘TX-Connect’, Transics’ web-based platform for collecting and organising data on trucks, trailers, and their drivers. ZF reports that “several thousand” trailers in DSA’s fleet will be equipped with TX-Trailerpulse.
