ZF is a global technology company supplying advanced mobility products and systems for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and industrial technology. Mission / Vision Statement

ZF’s Commercial Vehicle Solutions’ (CVS) division is helping shape the future of commercial transportation ecosystems. Our mission is to be the preferred global technology partner to the commercial vehicle industry. Powerfully combining ZF’s commercial vehicle systems expertise, extensive technology portfolio and global operations, the division serves the full commercial vehicle industry value chain. As the automotive industry progresses towards an increasingly autonomous, connected, and electrified (ACE) future, ZF’s CVS division innovates, integrates and supplies components and advanced control systems that help make commercial vehicles and fleets operate more safely and sustainably. CVS unites ZF’s former Commercial Vehicle Technology and Commercial Vehicle Control Systems divisions, the latter being formed following ZF’s acquisition of WABCO in Spring 2020.

Strategy

ZF wants to grow in the areas where the company is particularly strong and successfully positioned. Our approach is to develop technologies and platforms once and deploy them across different product segments. We benefit from the fact that no other supplier covers as many mobility areas as ZF. Our key to success is offering the broadest product and technology portfolio on the market as well as the ability not only to deliver products but also to integrate them into our customers' system landscapes and vehicle environment.

We have strengths across numerous technology fields. Over the next few years we will focus on advancing the following technology segments:

• Chassis technologies for all vehicle segments, e.g. brake by wire, steer-by-wire

• Driveline technologies including e-mobility technologies

• Safety systems, including ADAS technologies

• Software and digitalization

• Digital and traditional service models and spare parts (aftermarket)

Sustainability Goals

Sustainability is an integral part of our ZF Group strategy which sets a target of complete climate neutrality by 2040. However, sustainability means far more to us than climate protection. In addition to climate and nature, we also focuse on the dimensions of people and lasting values. As a globally active technology company, we also take on responsibility along the entire value chain – for our employees and locations, as well as throughout our supply chain and for our products.
