Brazil – In the first nine months of 2022, truck sales in Brazil between January and September 2022, fell by 2.2% to 93,162 vehicles compared with 95,273 trucks in the same period of the previous year, according to data from ANFAVEA.

ANFAVEA said in a statement that sales were impacted by successive stops in production that took place throughout the year due to the lack of components, especially microprocessors. It added that it was only in August that the market did not register any downtime.
