Via Motors to export Class 2-5 electric cab-chassis to Australia

USA / AustraliaVia Motors Inc, an EV manufacturer based in Orem, Utah, USA, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with private equity firm Boss Capital Holdings Pty Ltd of Brendale, Queensland, Australia to collaborate in marketing Via Motors’ electric vehicles in Australia. 

Via Motors says it will share engineering expertise and best practices with Boss Capital subsidiary ‘AUSEV’, which will handle the remanufacture of Via Motors’ vehicles for the right-hand drive market. Via Motors’ products are Class 2 to 5 vehicles based on an electric cab-chassis platform which it will ship to Australia for conversion. The deal resembles an MoU signed in June between Boss Capital and Zeus Electric Chassis
