BorgWarner to supply electric motors to European OEM

USA – CV powertrain components giant, BorgWarner Inc of Auburn Hills, Michigan, USA, has announced its HVH250 electric motor is to power an unnamed European Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) electric axle (e-axle) for up to 7.5-ton light commercial vehicles (LCV’s), with production set to begin in early 2023.
HVH250 motors are available in various lengths, cooling, and winding configurations as either fully-housed motors or as rotor/stator assemblies, offering maximum flexibility for OEMs.
