Professor Karl Victor Schaller appointed to Volta Trucks Board of Directors

Sweden – Volta Trucks AB, a manufacturer of zero-emission trucks based in Stockholm, Sweden, has announced the appointment of Professor Dr-Ing Karl Victor Schaller to the company’s Board of Directors. His appointment will be confirmed at the company’s forthcoming annual general meeting.
Professor Schaller holds a doctorate in mechanical engineering from the Technical University of Munich and was awarded an honorary professorship there in 2007. Between 2014 and 2019, he held an executive position at BMW. Prior to that, he was Chief Technology Officer at MAN Truck & Bus, where he had previously served as Director of the Heavy Trucks business unit. He is currently a board member for Westport Fuel Systems.
