Germany – At the IAA Transportation 2022 in Hannover, Bremen-based new truck builder, Enginius GmbH, a subsidiary of the Faun Group, based in Osterholz-Scharmbeck, debuted its 16-ton Citypower, a hydrogen fuel cell-powered electric truck for inner-city goods and delivery traffic.

Citypower is the second product from Enginius, which uses an Atego truck in a 4x2 glider form from Daimler Trucks AG. Enginius installs a 90kW hydrogen fuel cell engine, hydrogen storage tanks with 32kg capacity at 700 bar, 95kWh battery pack (200 kW engine with torque of up to 1,400 Nm).
