Bendix expands its manufacturing plant in Mexico

Bendix Acuna Mexico expansion plans

Mexico / USA – Avon, Ohio-based Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC has begun construction on a 185,000-square-foot expansion of its 412,000-square-foot manufacturing plant in Acuña, Mexico, scheduled for completion by November 2023. Creating an estimated 200 new jobs, the plant is expected to be responsible for the production of the Global Scalable Brake Control (GSBC) and Global Scalable Air Treatment (GSAT) products which enable automated driving.

Commenting on the expansion plans, Jacqueline Perez, Bendix senior director of operations in Mexico said:
