Tata Motors launches 5W30 synthetic engine oil for CVs

Mumbai - Tata Motors Ltd of Mumbai has introduced the 5W30 synthetic engine oil for commercial vehicles.
Tata Motors confirms that the new 5W30 synthetic engine oil has been extensively tested in varied and stringent conditions for over three years. It has been driven for more than ten lakh kilometres in difficult terrains, clocking up more than 35,000 hours at the corporation’s powertrain testing facilities. Tata Motors says the 5W/30 uses a rich combination of high-performance polymer with an additive technology blended in group III base oil. It claims a 5W30 oil increases the dependability, durability, and pollution compliance of the vehicle by prolonging engine life and reducing friction between machine components.
