Ashok Leyland expands AVTR range with 250hp tippers

New 4825 heavy-duty model tipper from Ashok Leyland with 250hp engine and several factory fitted body options.

Chennai – Truck builder, Ashok Leyland Ltd of Chennai, has introduced its AVTR 4825 tipper powered by its recently introduced 250hp H-series 4V 6-cylinder Bharat-Stage 6 (BS6) engine.

The new AVTR 4825 tipper offers a gross vehicle weight of 48t. The 250hp H-series 4V 6-cylinder engine is matched with a 9-speed synchromesh transmission. The chassis is fitted with semi-elliptic multi-leaf front suspension (optional-parabolic, with shock absorber) and improved non-reactive suspension (NRS) semi-elliptic rear suspension.
