Ashok Leyland to supply 1,400 school buses from its assembly plant in AL-RakiA, UAE.

India / UAE - Ashok Leyland Ltd of Chennai, India, a subsidiary of the Hinduja Group, has received an order for 1,400 school buses in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), valued at USD 75.15 million.

The order has been placed by Ashok Leyland’s UAE distribution partner, Swaidan Trading - Al Naboodah Group, with most of the buses being supplied to two operators, Emirates Transport and the STS Group.
