Ideanomics leads consortium to build a hydrogen fuel cell electric bus

USA – Ideanomics Inc, a financial technology company based in New York City, has announced that it is leading a consortium to build a hydrogen fuel cell electric bus built on the Ford E-450 chassis and a low-floor bus built on the Ford F-53 chassis, destined for the California public transport authority, to be completed in the second half of 2023.

The consortium is to consist of Ideanomics subsidiary, U.S. Hybrid Corporation based in Torrance, California and Fresno, California-based A-1 Alternative Fuel Systems Inc*, supported by funding from South Coast Air Quality Management District (South Coast AQMD) and SoCalGas.
