Orange EV to relocate to new headquarters and manufacturing facility in Kansas

USAOrange EV, a manufacturer of zero-emission terminal tractors based in Riverside, Missouri, has announced its intention to relocate its headquarters to a new facility in Kansas City, Kansas, providing greater manufacturing and office space than before. 

The company’s new headquarters and manufacturing operations, comprising 400,000 square feet, will be located in the Turner Logistics Center, an industrial estate currently under construction. Orange EV aims to produce up to 1,800 terminal tractors per year in single-shift operations at the new site. It will leave its current base at Riverside, which is also located in the cross-state metropolitan area of Kansas City. The firm already employs over 200 people in the area, and it is looking to hire more assemblers, warehouse operatives, engineers and other staff to work in the new facility.
