Ashok Leyland explores Libertine’s tech platform for commercial vehicles

UK / India - Libertine Holdings PLC (LSE AIM: LIB) of Sheffield, UK, a developer of clean, highly efficient, and fuel-flexible ‘Linear Generator’ technology, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Ashok Leyland Ltd of Chennai, India, a subsidiary of the Hinduja Group, to evaluate the use of Libertine’s technology platform for commercial vehicle powertrains.
As per the agreement, Ashok Leyland says it will conduct due diligence on Libertine’s technology and explore the scope for Linear Generator product development and demonstration within its commercial vehicle portfolio.
