Aurora and Ryder partner to provide maintenance for autonomous trucks

USA - Start-up software company, Aurora Innovations Inc of Mountain View, California, United States has teamed up with American fleet operator, Ryder System Inc, to set up a pilot project for the maintenance of autonomous trucks at Aurora’s terminal in south Dallas to prepare for commercial operation at scale in the upcoming years. Both companies’ technicians will maintain Aurora’s fleet of autonomous class 8 tractors, doing compliance, inspections, repairs and preventative maintenance on-site.
